Who I Help

The gap between good science and a product that sells.

Most products fail not because the science is wrong — but because the path to market is fragmented. I close that gap. Here is exactly who I work with and what I do for them.

Primary Niche
The clinic owner seeing 200–800 patients monthly, generating zero product revenue from the trust she has already built.

You have spent 5–15 years building clinical credibility. Your patients trust your judgment completely. They spend RM150–RM400 monthly on supplements and skincare — just not yours. Every week you send them home without a product that continues their treatment. That gap is the opportunity I work in. I build the science-backed product system your existing patients will buy — NPRA-registered, clinically positioned, generating RM15,000–RM50,000 monthly in new product revenue within 6 months.

🏥
For clinic and healthcare owners
Build a product income stream from patients you already have
You may have tried a generic distributor product before — it sat on the shelf. Your patients did not buy it because it felt like retail, not medicine. You need a product built around your clinical context, not a logo on someone else's formula.
Outcome: RM15K–RM50K/month in new product revenue from existing patients within 6 months
🍜
For food and F&B entrepreneurs
Turn your signature product into revenue that runs while you sleep
Your revenue hits a ceiling when you stop working. You have been asked "where can I buy this?" hundreds of times. Every factory version tastes wrong, shelf life is too short for retail, and nobody can explain all three problems at once.
Outcome: 12–24 week shelf life, retail-ready, taste validated to 90% of original within 9 months
💊
For supplement and wellness brands
Build a product moat before the copycats finish copying you
You scaled on marketing and a factory formula. Now six competitors have the same formulation at half your price. Your repeat purchase rate is falling. The root cause is not your marketing — your product has no moat.
Outcome: Evidence-backed, legally protected reformulation commanding 30–50% price premium
My Journey

From pivot to purpose.

Three years. Three defining chapters. This is how I went from almost giving up to building two companies — and why the journey is embedded in every product I help you build.

2023
The Pivot Year
From My Brand to Many Brands
I almost gave up. "I just can't make it. I'm not good enough. I want to give up." These were real thoughts. A business network changed my trajectory — I learned from leaders, joined the leadership team, grew into a regional support role, and discovered my real calling: helping other brands succeed. I learned to give without remembering, and receive without forgetting.
2024
Growth and Risk
Entering a Bigger Arena
I competed in the 2024 China Innovation Competition (深圳) and reached the semi-finals — representing Malaysia on an international stage. Won the 7th Women Glamour Award for young female influence. It was not just about winning. It was about proving that science and business belong together. The global wellness economy is $6.8 trillion — and moats matter more than ever in a fast-growing market.

About Dr. Wee Ting

The scientist who learned that good science alone is never enough.

"My philosophy is simple: Learn faster. Seek insights. Copy shamelessly. The best solutions already exist somewhere — the skill is knowing where to look, and how to apply them to your specific challenge without losing what makes your product worth building."

A PhD scientist who spent a decade learning that the lab is not enough.

I completed my PhD in Bioprocess Engineering at Universiti Putra Malaysia, specialising in food science and biomaterials. In the years that followed, I co-invented 20+ patents with Dr. Nicholas Khong Mun Hoe — and discovered that patents sitting in a drawer help nobody.

The real gap was never scientific. It was commercial. Most founders with great ideas — and most scientists with real innovation — get stranded between the lab and the market. Formulation without regulatory strategy. Regulatory without manufacturing. Manufacturing without claims. Claims without a channel strategy.

I now exist specifically to close that gap. Not as a regulatory consultant. Not as a formulator. Not as a business advisor. As the single person who connects all four — because the path from science to shelf requires all four simultaneously.

I am also a mother (Zen Vin keeps me grounded), a business network regional leader, and someone who genuinely believes that a product built on real science, positioned correctly, and launched with evidence behind it, is the most powerful business moat that exists.

70–95%
Sensory matching accuracy
Something you do not know about me

A hidden superpower built over thousands of hours in the lab.

I can identify food profiles and processing methods at 70–95% accuracy through sensory evaluation alone — without instruments. This is not a party trick. It is a skill built across years of hands-on product development that means when I engineer your manufactured product, I can tell when it is wrong before any instrument measures it. For F&B brands trying to scale, this is the difference between a product that tastes like the original and one that clearly came from a factory. Marketing gets trials. Product quality gets repeat purchase. Repeat purchase protects profit.

Real Results

Products I have fixed, built, and launched.

Not theory. Not templates. Real problems, real science, real outcomes — with the commercial impact to prove it.

CASE STUDY / 01
Healthcare Group — Skincare and Supplement System
Clinic Product System · Product income from existing patients
🏥
Outcome
Products became retention tools and a second income stream — patients returned to buy, not just to be treated

A healthcare group had established patient trust and strong clinical credibility — but zero product revenue. Results ended when patients left the clinic. We built an integrated skincare and supplement system with a documented performance pathway — positioned as continuity of care, not a retail product. Formulated around the clinical context, evidence-backed so practitioners could explain the products in the consultation room, and launched as extensions of the treatment protocol rather than items on a shelf.

The moat: Customers were not lacking. Outcomes beyond the service session were. The product delivered those outcomes at home.
CASE STUDY / 02
Soybean Product — Shelf Life Engineering
Process re-engineering · Distribution barrier removed
📈
Outcome
Shelf life: under 2 weeks to 12+ weeks — modern trade, export, and distribution fully unlocked

A soybean product manufacturer had an excellent product that could not survive long enough to reach most retail channels. Below 2 weeks shelf life meant no modern trade, no export, and no scalable distribution. We diagnosed the stability issue at a process level — not a preservative level — and re-engineered the manufacturing approach to extend shelf life to 12+ weeks while preserving the taste profile the brand was built on. Every distribution channel they had been locked out of became accessible within 6 months of project completion.

The moat: Shelf life is not a food science problem. It is a revenue ceiling problem. We removed the ceiling.
CASE STUDY / 03
Sea Bird Nest — Ingredient to Product Line
New product development · Full commercialisation pathway
🌊
Outcome
From premium raw ingredient to market-ready product line with global distribution potential

A sea bird nest brand had a premium ingredient and zero product direction. No formulation, no market positioning, no regulatory pathway, no manufacturing partner. We built the product concept from scratch — selecting the right processing approach, developing the formulation, creating the evidence foundation for claims, and designing a commercialisation pathway that matched the ingredient's premium positioning to the right target channel and price point. Great ingredients become commodities without positioning.

The moat: We built the product that made the ingredient worth its price — not just a container it came in.
CASE STUDY / 04
Food Service Brand — Service to Product Income
2-Lane Growth · ASEAN distribution · Headcount-independent revenue
🍜
Outcome
Revenue growth decoupled from headcount — ASEAN Flavour product line in retail, online, and overseas markets

A food service business had revenue entirely capped by team size and operational hours. Every additional ringgit required another hour of labour. We built an ASEAN Flavour product line that could be manufactured, distributed, and sold independently of operational hours — through retail shelves, online marketplaces, and overseas markets. Lane 2 was opened without disrupting Lane 1. Product income now scales through distribution, not headcount. Revenue growth decoupled from people.

The moat: Products do not replace service. They scale it. Build Lane 2 without breaking Lane 1.
The Framework

The 2-Lane Growth Model.

Every business I work with is stuck in Lane 1 and trying to find Lane 2. Here is exactly what that transition looks like — and why it is the most important strategic move any service business can make.

Lane 1
Service Income
Time-bound revenue tied to people and operational hours. Strong — but with a hard ceiling that cannot be broken without more headcount.
Revenue stops when you stop working
Growth requires more people
Ceiling is your team's capacity
Every hour sold is an hour spent
Lane 2
Product Income
Distribution-driven revenue that scales independently of how many people you have or how many hours you work.
Revenue grows through channels, not headcount
Products travel beyond service boundaries
Retail, online, export — simultaneously
Sells while you sleep, on holiday, at capacity

"Products do not replace service — they scale it. Build Lane 2 without breaking Lane 1. That is the only growth move that removes the ceiling without adding the headache."

The System

The Product Moat System — how I work.

This is risk reduction. I do not guess. Every engagement follows a structured methodology that eliminates the expensive mistakes most brands only discover after they have already made them.

STEP 01
Market Gap Analysis
Before any formulation begins, I map the market gap, product gap, research gap, regulatory gap, and commercial gap. Winning concepts emerge from market reality — not laboratory isolation. Risk reduction through strategic alignment before investment.
STEP 02
Moat Architecture
I design what will win within your real constraints — distribution channels, pricing structure, customer expectations, and operational capabilities. The product must be Different, Proven, and Repeatable. If it cannot scale, it cannot protect profit.
STEP 03
Development and Proof
Formulation, prototype creation, stability testing, safety validation, and QA/QC documentation — built to the standard required by the regulatory pathway and distribution channel, not just the lab standard.
STEP 04
Regulatory Build
NPRA, MESTI, JAKIM Halal, MDA — I choose the right pathway for your commercial strategy before you commit. The category you register under affects the claims you can make and every channel you can access.
STEP 05
Manufacturing Match
OEM partner selection from a curated, vetted network. Scale-up validation. Quality systems. I do not hand you a formula. I hand you a manufacturable product with a manufacturing partner who can actually deliver it.
STEP 06
Commercialise
Evidence-based storytelling, claims architecture, channel fit, and launch preparation. Marketing gets trials. Product quality gets repeat purchase. Repeat purchase protects profit. This is where science becomes a moat.

"This is risk reduction. We do not guess. We build products that perform consistently and create the proof to support them."
